Duties and Responsibilities: Otolaryngologists are physicians trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose,throat.
Salary: $369,790
Education: ENT physicians must complete about 15 years of education and training, including a 4-year undergraduate program, 4-year medical program, at least 5 years of specialty training and a 1- to 2-year residency program.
Demand or need for this profession: The profession is going to increase by 20% by the start of the year 2020.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I wouldn’t like to be one since all you have to do is just to look at noses and I don’t think that’s really fun.
