  I think this means that doing the right thing is better that winning or losing, for example, if you are doing a test you need to not cheat and pass the test fair and if you don't pass the test then that's ok and try harder the next time. But if you want to cheat on the test, you are not doing the right thing but you are passing the test cause you cheated and if there is other test and you don't have the chance to cheat then you will not know nothing you did not learn nothing. This is why you need to choose the right .

Honesty is the best policy

Honesty is the best best policy. This statement is very well stated. Honesty is the best way to live your lifetime with good. What this statement is saying is, honesty is key as well. Honesty is a key to live with good and positivism around you. On that note, if you lie you will receive the opposite of honesty. Lying will bring you negativity and will no open so many doors for you in the future. As for honesty, it opens up doors for you and give you integrity. What is honesty? Honesty is accepting your own actions and responsibilities with integrity. Integrity is honesty. Honesty is choosing the right. Honesty brings you well.

Honesty brings good on you, it provides you a good label and brings you more guarantee in trust. A great example of honesty is when you take a test. Based on your final score it is what you give to get. What you give is what you get. Because honesty is like integrity, let's say you failed the test and you were not satisfied and you cheated because you wanted to pass. With the qualities of choosing the right, having integrity, and being honest you will face the consequences and accept the responsibility of your action. This example provides the action of taking full responsibility of our actions, having integrity, and being honest. This example fits great, because as teenagers we will face throughout our years and choose bad choices.  This quote help us to keep in mind what its the best, because connect to the example it can get worse. For example, lets say you lied saying you didn't cheat and you gave it your effort. When they find out you lied your consequences will even be worse, using honesty it will liberate you facing that.

Veterans Day

Memorial Day (the fourth Monday in May) honors American service members who died in service to their country or as a result of injuries incurred during battle, while Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans–living or dead–but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime. It is important because it's real people like these who protect and honor our precious freedom each and every day.  Here are 8 ways to honor on Veterans Day 1.) Show up to a Veterans Day event 2.) Reflection: I think veterans day is good cause some people sacrifice their life to serve are country. But the only problem about that is you are going to be away from your family and not see them and while you're fighting and serving are country you might never see them cause you might ... this is why there is event you can attend and they have a day where you can talk about veteran day.

The Magic Keys

 These are the 3 magic keys to living you life with integrity:
1. Have the courage to say no.
2. Have the courage to face the truth.
3. Do the right thing because its right.

1. For example, if you are hanging out with your friends and they decide to smoke and they are convincing you to smoke you need to have the courage to say no. And if they peer pressure you then you just leave and say no.
2. For example, if you come home late from hanging out with your friends all you have to do is tell your parents the truth and face the consequences but if you lie and not get in trouble you will feel bad about it you will not show it in the outside but you will show it in the inside.
3. For example, if you a piece a trash you need to pick it up without being told because that is right and right is right. Like if you say the truth you did the right thing.
CTR!!!

Shall be wise

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:but a companion of fools shall be destroyed”. - Proverbs 13:20

I think this means that if you go the right direction you will be a CTR person and be with wise people and you will be wise also. Also if you go the wrong direction, and have friends that are not wise you will be like them also and that is CTW, and you never what to do that. For example, if you hang out with the wrong crowd that does drugs doesn't do their work or homework form school then you will follow their direction and that’s bad. But if you hang out with the wise crowd you will be a CTR, and wise person and you can get good grades and have good friends. CTR!!!

Gainesville High School

Gainesville High School

In Gainesville High School the students there are prisoners and are people who CTW (Choose The Wrong) and they have a basketball team but no fans show up to cheer them and they felt sad and feel like not playing against other teams. Cause they said they don't feel right cause there is no fans cheering for them. So then the next game they had it was vs a private high school and when they went they expected no fans but what they saw was unbelievable they were shocked and happy. There was so many fans cheering for them and every time the Tornadoes score they will be so loud cause the fans are cheering. This made the whole basketball team happy and proud cause they never saw fans cheering and one person even said I will remember this for the rest of my life.

Ctr Statement

The best recreation is to do good in life. This statement by William Penn . The recreation word is known as outside activities.  In this terms, recreation is re-creating yourself. When william am says that recreation is to do good, he emphasizes that there are many ways to do good. For example, after a day of studying hard and you’re tired, the best thing to do is like doing an outside sport or just going for a walk at the park. Once you do that, you feel great, fresh, and ready to do the next thing. That is recreating your self. This statement sends a message to everyone that to recreate yourself, you need to do good. To do good is like being active, cooperating, collaborating, being an active citizen, etc. Another example of this recreation, is to hang with the right crowd. It s better if you hang with the ctr crowd instead of the ctw crowd. To recreate yourself, you have to do good and choose the right daily.
